SYNOPSIS: Years ago, the young Five Fingers fought for the rural town of Marseilles against brutal police oppression. Now, after fleeing in disgrace, Tau, one of them, returns to Marseilles, seeking only a peaceful life. When he finds the town under new threat, he must reluctantly fight to free it.

A new age western, Five Fingers for Marseilles is about five kids growing up in the harsh world of rural South Africa. The story follows Tau, played by Vuyo Dabula, who leaves his home town when he was young leaving the other four to face the world without him only to return and see the repercussions of his actions and his absence. The perfect amount of action and drama Five Fingers for Marseilles kept me glued to the screen the entire time and didn’t not disappoint. From the amazing acting to the breathtaking scenery this film is a fantastic first for Director Michael Matthews and I look forward to more by him.

I`m Irish, and I had no idea of the extenet of the horror during the famine. A must see film for a lesson in a dark but on equal measure dramatic piece of Irish history. And yes, as the title suggests it is a Rambo..ish type of revenge movie, awesome!
